Project Description:
The project involved the construction of a new residential development of sixty-six dwellings comprising 36 number houses and 30 number apartment units in the proposed apartment block at a brown-field site of the former St. Pancras Works, Mount Tallant Avenue. The Development is made up of 36 No. 3 storey houses, (comprising 1 No. 4 bed detached, 12 No. 4 bed end terrace, 8 No. 3 bed + study mid terrace and 15 No. 4 bed mid terrace units) and 30 Apartments in 1 block of 4 storeys commencing at Ground Floor. Phase 1 & 2 of this project has been completed (30nr Dwellings) with the remaining 2 phases to be completed by the end of 2019.
The scope of works involved:
- Demolition of the existing buildings & slabs and associated ground works
- Provision of complete new infrastructure (gas, power, communications, water and drainage)
- Full construction of new residential accommodation (36 number Semi-detached 3 and 4 bed houses and 30 number apartment units in the proposed apartment block)
- Construction of access roads, footpaths, landscaping, boundary treatment and all associated site works.
The project was completed on time, within budget and to the high standard of finish.
