Project Description:

The Inn at Dromoland (Formerly The Clare Inn Hotel) was recently acquired by the Dromoland Castle Estate and Subsequently underwent major re-development.
Monami Construction were appointed main contractors to carry out the refurbishment works.
The Project Comprised of the refurbishment of the hotels Main Function Room (The Ballyhannon Suite), 25 Nr Bedrooms, Main Hotel Bar and toilet areas.
The Ballyhannon suite refurbishment was carried out with a defined time window over Christmas Holiday period within a live hotel environment.
Works included new M & E installations, specialist AV installations, Feature Ceilings, External glazing and internal finishes.
The Bedrooms refurbishment included alterations and demolition to existing internal layouts, new stud partitions and blockwork walls, new floor finishes, suspended and mf ceilings, new external windows, mechanical, electrical, audio visual and data installations, internal joinery and wall finishes to bring the rooms to a superior room standard.
A complete renovation and rebuilding of the existing bar was carried out to create a new landmark gastro bar.
Works included specialist joinery items, new floor & wall finishes, M & E Installations and new AV installations.
The hotel remained fully operational for the duration of the works with Monami site management monitoring elements such as noise and dust levels on a daily basis and interfacing with hotel management to keep guest disruption ot a minimum.
