Monami Construction have been appointed as Main Contractors for the Galway Racecourse Tote Building Redevelopment.
The works are to demolish the existing Tote building (450 sqm) and to replace it with a new two storey steel-frame building featuring a large central hall space on each floor, Tote windows to 3 elevations at Ground Floor level, and a large partially covered balcony at first floor level. The roof will have a saw-tooth profile, and the there will be plant room at roof level. Total building area (including plant space) is 1,749 sqm.
The building is required to be delivered in a tight timeframe (between the 2017 Galway Races summer festival and the 2018 summer festival, and certainty of delivery is critical. Monami are due to commence on site in August 2017.
