Monami Construction have successfully completed the External Facade Remedial Works Project to the Schrodinger Building for the University of Limerick. The project consisted of the following works:
- Construction of a new lobby entrance at the main entrance
- Removal of existing single glazed windows and replace with new double glazed between ground and second floors and workshop areas
- Plastering works throughout
- Installation of new insulated copper cladding on all elevations across all floors and to existing concrete facades to the workshop areas
- Removal of existing single glazed roof glazing and replace with new double glazed roof glazing
- Upgrade of existing roof with new rigid insulation and built up roofing felt
- New block work and structural steel at roof level over the stair core
The project was completed to a very high standard, on time and within budget.
