Monami Construction have been appointed as Main Contractors on the New Industrial & Office Development for Ei Electronics, Shannon, Co. Clare.
The project will consist of the following:
- Demolition of the existing service yard and ancillary car parking area to facilitate the construction of a two-storey extension to the existing light-industrial
manufacturing facility. - Construction works will include an ancillary office and a research and development area with a new entrance foyer constructed over 3 levels. This will result in an
additional gross floor area of 9,884m2. - The existing car park will be extended to the south of the proposed building to provide 75 additional spaces and a new carpark will be constructed to provide 44 new spaces which
will include accessible spaces and a set-down area. - The provision of two loading bays to the rear of the proposed development extension, upgraded vehicular and delivery/service yard entrances, secure bicycle parking spaces, external open-sided storage enclosure, plant and services compound, signage to the proposed extension and wayfinding signage to the campus, rainwater harvesting tanks, plant and photovoltaic units to the roof level with all ancillary landscaping and associated site works
The project has a 14 Month programme and is due to commence in the coming months.
