Monami Construction have completed works on the 10,000m2 extension to Ei Electronics Manufacturing & Head Office Facility, Shannon, Co. Clare.
The project consisted of the following:
- Demolition of the existing service yard and ancillary car parking area to facilitate the construction of a mutli-storey extension to the existing industrial
manufacturing facility. - Construction works included an ancillary office and a research and development area with a new entrance foyer constructed over 4 levels. This resulted in an
additional gross floor area of approx 10,000m2. - The existing car park was extended to the south of the new building to provide 75 additional spaces and a new carpark was constructed to provide 44 new spaces which included accessible spaces and a set-down area.
- The provision of two loading bays to the rear of the proposed development extension, upgraded vehicular and delivery/service yard entrances, secure bicycle parking spaces, external open-sided storage enclosure, plant and services compound, signage to the proposed extension and wayfinding signage to the campus, rainwater harvesting tanks, plant and photovoltaic units to the roof level with all ancillary landscaping and associated site works
