Schrodinger Building External Works, UL

Monami Construction have successfully completed the External Facade Remedial Works Project to the Schrodinger Building for  the University of Limerick. The project consisted of the following works:

  • Construction of a new lobby entrance at the main entrance
  • Removal of existing single glazed windows and replace with new double glazed between ground and second floors and workshop areas
  • Plastering works throughout
  • Installation of new insulated copper cladding on all elevations across all floors and to existing concrete facades to the workshop areas
  • Removal of existing single glazed roof glazing and replace with new double glazed roof glazing
  • Upgrade of existing roof with new rigid insulation and built up roofing felt
  • New block work and structural steel at roof level over the stair core

The project was completed to a very high standard, on time and within budget.
