Breaking Ground in Outer Dublin

We were delighted to welcome our client, Whitbread, along with representatives of the local Council and Sandyford Business Park, members of the project team and invited guests, to the official sod-turning ceremony for the new 157-bedroom Premier Inn Hotel at Arkle Road, Sandyford Business Park, marking the start of this exciting development.

Following our appointment as Main Contractor, we are proud to commence construction on another significant project, further strengthening Monami Construction’s portfolio of high-quality developments across Ireland.

Working in partnership with Whitbread and the wider design team, we look forward to delivering the first Premier Inn in Outer Dublin. Scheduled for completion in Spring 2028, the hotel will provide high-quality accommodation and support the continued growth of Sandyford Business Park.

CIF West Region Gala Dinner 2026

We were delighted to attend the CIF West Gala Dinner at the Ardilaun Hotel on Friday 8th May.

Our own Director, Trevor Cavanagh is this years Chairman of the CIF Galway Branch.

Trevor made an insightful address to the members and guests in attendance to welcome everyone and to start off what was a very enjoyable evening.

Carrigmore Award Nomination

Our project at Carrigmore Woods in Citywest, Dublin 24 has been shortlisted for the Irish Construction Excellence Awards 2026 ‘Project of the Year!’

The awards will take place on 28th May 2026. Watch this space for updates of the final results!

Works Progressing Well At Westside

Works are progressing well at our Westside Student Accommodation Project which will bring an additional 240 student beds to Galway!

This project is a great example of modern construction methods in action. The composite precast wall panel system is the standout feature of this project by integrating the structural frame with the external brick façade off-site, and craning it efficiently into position.

ULSC Project Wins Award

We’re delighted to share that Monami Construction has been named Overall Winner at the Irish Concrete Society Awards for the University of Limerick Student Centre project.
This recognition reflects the quality, innovation, and collaboration delivered across every stage of the project from design stage through to execution.
A huge credit goes to the entire project team and our valued partners, who played a key role in bringing this development to life.

Ardhu Ryan Commences

Monami have commenced construction on the largest residential development in Limerick city in 20 years.

Ardhu Ryan is a €120m project, delivering 230 apartments as part of phase 1 of the Ardhu House development, Ennis Road, Limerick.

The 230 new apartments will offer residents a wide range of amenities located in the former Ardhu House to include a cafe, cinema, co-working space, gym, spa, swimming pool and padel court.

 

 

 

Bethany House Project Completed

Monami is pleased to announce the completion of our Bethany House Redevelopment Project in Sandymount, Dublin for our client Cluid Housing.

This redevelopment has delivered 62 high-quality sheltered housing apartments, supported by upgraded communal facilities, improved parking and cycle spaces, and a landscaped courtyard designed to provide a safe and comfortable living environment.

A particularly meaningful moment for our team was recently welcoming several long-standing former residents back to view their new homes when the Lord Mayor of Dublin alongside the CEO of Cluid, Brian O’Gorman, officially opened the redevelopment.

The completed photos highlight the standard of craftsmanship and the care taken at every stage by our site and project teams. Their commitment, collaboration, and attention to detail were central to bringing this development to life.

PC Reached at Alta Verde

Monami Construction is proud to announce the successful practical completion of the Alta Verde development at Cross Avenue, Blackrock, Co. Dublin.

Delivered on schedule and to the highest standards, this landmark project includes 246 high-quality apartments and represents the result of months of collaboration between our client, Lioncor, our dedicated site and project teams, talented designers, and trusted partners.

Alta Verde sets a new benchmark in modern living, featuring a range of sustainable and innovative amenities. These include landscaped gardens, a residents’ lounge, cinema, co-working spaces, private dining and meeting rooms, a fitness studio, a fully equipped gym with a wraparound balcony, an on-site padel court, and rooftop gardens.

This milestone reflects the hard work and commitment of everyone involved. Congratulations to all who contributed to bringing this exceptional development to life.

BCMS Uploaded at Citywest Project

Monami is pleased to report that construction works at the Citywest Drive development are progressing on schedule, with BCMS (Building Control Management System) submissions now completed for three of the five building commencements.

The approved commencements cover Blocks D, E, and F, which will collectively deliver 106 new homes. 47 apartments in Block D, 30 in Block E, and 29 in Block F.

This residential development will comprise a total of 290 apartments across six blocks on a 2.90-hectare site, thoughtfully designed to enhance the urban fabric of the Citywest area. The project is split across two locations, one north of Citywest Shopping Centre and one to the south, maximising connectivity and integration with the surrounding community.

Monami is proud to deliver this large-scale project on time, supporting the delivery of much-needed housing while contributing to the long-term urban development goals of the Citywest area.
